McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882, it was named in honor of the explorer Christopher Columbus. The organization’s motto – “In service to One, In service to all” – represents its goal to connect with the community through a wide range of activities, fundraisers, and events that serve God and our fellow man.
